I grew up on the southwest side of Chicago. I went to Kennedy High School, attended Richard J. Daley and Moraine Valley colleges, and eventually graduated from the dental hygiene program at Southern Illinois University. Years later, in true late bloomer fashion, I also received a Bachelors in English with a Teaching Certificate from GSU. I guess you can say I love school and learning - and a good challenge! That love of challenge is part of the reason why I am here, writing my bio on my real estate broker page - because I then went on to get my real estate license. 

I have always loved real estate. I bought my first home in Orland Park over 25 years ago.  The trepidation I felt when buying that house was overwhelming. I was a bit committment-phobic but purchasing that home turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.  As a matter of fact, I look back on the purchase of that first home as my anchor into what is now the life I have always wanted. Owning my own home provided me with stability and sense of safety that I had not epected. I am confident that you will feel the same. I guess that's why I love being a part of the process of home buying and selling.  I understand that buying a house is more than just a purchase.  It's a life-altering decision.  It's a committment.  It's a risk.  But when you find the right house, it's home.
