Katie moved to Chicago from downstate Illinois to get her bachelor's degree in design. She fell in love with the city — the people, the architecture, the history, the grit. She loves our community and finds joy in donating to a local nonprofit as part of every real estate closing. 

Katie has lived all over this city, from the South Loop to Rogers Park, in her 16 years here. With 12 of those years spent in Wicker Park and Bucktown. She now calls Old Irving Park home with her two boys and rescue rat terrier mix. With any free time, she paints, tinkers with DIY projects, cooks, writes, and adds to her ever-growing spoon collection.​
