First and foremost, Katie helps people. She listens. She guides. She meets you where you are on this journey with expert skill, craft, and care. She can jump in at any point of the process and get shit done with equal amounts of grit and grace.
She is organized. She is a great communicator. She is strategic and loves negotiations.
And she loves people: learning their unique needs/wants/loves (and hates) is a nerdy hobby. So, become one of her people (er, clients) today for that custom care, understanding, and support you need. Whatever that means to you.
But who *is* Katie?
Katie Davis Himmel was born in a tiny cornfield town in central Illinois. She studied design in Champaign-Urbana and then finished her degree here in Chicago at Columbia College. She fell in love with the city — the people, food, broad shoulders, and grit. She constantly seeks ways to give back to our community so reach out if you run a small business, non-profit, or have great ideas for one. She wants to help. She is an avid listener and advocate for change. She’s a wiz with a budget and timeline.
Katie has lived and loved all over the city and is happy to call Old Irving Park home with her comedic husband, two rambunctious kiddos, and a headstrong rescue rat terrier. In her free time, she paints giant paintings, cooks without recipes, works on home renovation projects, helps a friend change society, and adds to her ever-growing spoon collection. (Ask about her most-prized spoon from The Lourve.)
Katie would be honored to call you a client. Reach out anytime to dive in, whether that's asking a question, help getting pre-approved, learning how in the hell to buy a house as a first-timer, or selling your current home for maximum profit (and minimum Advil).
