My wife and I set out to buy our first house this year and were overwhelmed and anxious about the process. Luckily, a friend of mine (in Washington DC!) asked their relator if they knew or could recommend anybody in Metro Detroit, and the guy said Stetson. Think about that: this dude is so good, he's got a positive reputation hundreds of miles away!
Meeting Stetson, it was clear right away that he was a strong advocate for my wife and I's needs, and constantly patient and willing to explain all the details in the process for looking, offering, and ultimately, buying a house. He was available nights, weekends, at any hour to answer questions, look at houses, and provide any need we may have had. He had good relationships and was able to refer us to folks in the industry, including the company we got our mortgage with, as well as a number of service providers we used upon moving in. The respect Stetson has in the area is clear, and its clear that he's more than earned it.
We were relieved to find the right house for us after a relatively short search, and we really missed spending time with Stetson. He was like a part of our small family. Stetson was easily the best Realtor I have ever worked with. He extremely knowledgable about the region he is in. For me, I want to give my expectations, and have the realtor take over from there. It's not easy to do that, and feel comfortable that you are receiving exactly what you want. With Stetson, I immediately knew that I was in good hands after seeing the first few houses. He's also VERY efficient and acts in the same urgency as you would like him to act in. He's always on the ball and acts as if it's his own property.

Stetson is amazing! Due to market conditions at the time of this review, it was required to see homes as soon at they were available on the market. Stetson was available morning, afternoon, and evening through my home buying process for showings, questions, and updates. Stetson even scheduled for a showing at 9pm one evening to accommodate my schedule despite having his own commitments. After viewing the house, Stetson immediately wrote up my offer and was on the phone with the listing agent that same evening. Without Stetson being available, I am sure the sellers of the current home I'm in would have selected one of the other offers they already had on the property.
Stetson is a fantastic agent all around. Selling my home, Stetson went above and beyond to help stage the home for selling, taking professional pictures of my ranch, and driving foot traffic up during open house and other showings.
