Born and raised in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Matt Stansell is the embodiment of a true, lifelong Texan. In his early years, he didn’t just admire legends—he planned to become one, famously dreaming of growing up to be Roger Staubach. His path took a distinctly Lone Star detour when he stepped away from high school football to join the rodeo team, launching a 17-year run as a competitive rodeo cowboy.
Balancing grit with responsibility; Matt spent his weekdays in school or sales roles, then headed to friends’ ranches on weekends to work cattle and tend herds. When rodeos rolled into town, Matt was in the arena—competing, winning, and building a life shaped by wide-open land, long drives, early mornings, and a discipline forged in dust and determination. That chapter fueled a relentless work ethic he proudly carries forward today.
A career-long sales professional, Matt has spent his adult life understanding how markets move, connect, and ultimately come together. From selling saddles to cars—and nearly everything in between—he built a rare and valuable instinct for recognizing demand, reading opportunity, and guiding clients through shifting economic terrain with confidence and clarity.
Matt’s dedication to community is just as powerful as his competitive drive. A proud resident of The Colony, Texas, he watched all three of his children progress through the local school system, graduating alongside classmates they’ve known since kindergarten. His involvement in local athletics grew naturally, eventually becoming the voice behind The Colony’s volleyball, basketball, softball, and other school sporting events—serving as the town’s game-day announcer with unmatched energy and heart.

Inspired by his grandfather, a respected Realtor with more than 40 years in the business, his transition into real estate felt less like a career change and more like a calling.
