Bob and Tia Rieck are lifelong Northern Michigan locals who both grew up in Traverse City, where they met and later married. Together, they bring decades of professional experience, business leadership, and local market knowledge to their real estate clients.
After earning her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tia began her career in property management before transitioning into real estate, where she has now practiced for 33 years. Her background in title insurance adds another valuable layer of expertise, giving clients confidence and clarity throughout the transaction process.
Bob earned his degree in Industrial Supervision & Management with a concentration in Plastics Engineering and began his career in sales. He later purchased his father's tool and die business, growing the company over many years while leading a team of 85 employees. His strong business background, leadership experience, and negotiation skills became a natural asset when he joined Tia in real estate, forming the trusted team they are today.
Bob and Tia specialize in listing and selling real estate and have been leaders in downtown Traverse City condominium sales for the past 20 years. Their experience also includes residential homes, waterfront properties, vacant land, storage unit development, and commercial sales throughout Northern Michigan. Having personally purchased, divided, and sold land themselves, they are especially well equipped to guide clients through the land division process with firsthand knowledge and practical insight.
They are proud parents of two grown children, both happily married, whom they raised in Elk Rapids. Outside of real estate, Bob and Tia enjoy Lake Michigan beaches and sunsets, boating, hunting, golfing, game nights with their family, and spending time with the people they love most.
