Meet Alex Burki

Buying or selling a home is one of the most exciting, exhilarating, stressful and important things you'll ever do. You can trust that I will listen to your wants and needs, work continually to check all your boxes, help you navigate what can be a complicated process, and advocate for you every step of the way.

My client-centered approach and genuine care for my buyers and sellers is what sets me apart in the industry. I take on the needs and desires of my clients as if they were my own and work tirelessly on their behalf. I take tremendous pride in my work and am not in the business to simply "close deals." I actively listen to my clients and act as a trusted adviser, skilled negotiator, and valuable community resource.

Whether you're a first time home-buyer, expanding your family, considering downsizing, or investing, I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and expertise to help you fulfill your goals.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I've called Chicago home for over 20 years. I love its beauty, diversity, neighborhoods, and most importantly, it's people! After graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington with a degree in fine arts and art history, I began my career in fundraising and marketing, working with several Chicago-based non-profit organizations, including 10 years at the University of Chicago. It's this experience as a superb listener and communicator, along with my understanding and knowledge of market trends, which now helps me create new opportunities for my clients in an ever-changing real estate market.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, being outdoors, reading, running and yoga, as well as with my husband, our three kids, and two dogs. I am heavily involved in my childrens' schools and active in my neighborhood association on the northwest side of Chicago. I also love good food, the art of cocktails, live music, entertaining, and exploring new places!
