Hi!  I'm Nannette Porter.  When I was young, I asked my mom why she named me Nannette (not the most common of names), hoping I was named after some French movie star, famous scientist or world renowned ballerina.  Nope!  She just always liked the name and couldn't wait to name her firstdaughter Nannette.
