Dave joins @Properties after spending his entire 25-year career in the real estate industry and has expertise in all facets of the real estate lifecycle. After starting his career on the financing side, it eventually evolved into consulting some of the world's largest real estate companies on how to operate more effectively and efficiently. After a successful 15 year corporate career, Dave made the transition to focusing his energy towards his personal real estate investment company. Over the last 10 years he has acquired over 50 apartments and re-positioned them through value-add construction projects. He continues to invest in and manage multi-unit buildings all over the north side of Chicago.
Dave's deep understanding of the rental market and the excitement he feels when someone chooses to live in one of his buildings is what ultimately led to him obtaining his real estate license. In addition to continuing to work with renters, he wanted the opportunity to work directly with and assist buyers and sellers as they navigate what can be an intimidating and stressful process. Having experienced the peaks and valleys over the years and his ability to stay calm and focused in the most turbulent of times is what differentiates Dave as a realtor. Whether it's a rental or purchase/sale of a personal or investment property, Dave takes great pride in developing a relationship with each client. He takes time to understand each individual client's needs and helps them make a decision that is in their best interests.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Dave attended Tulane University in New Orleans earning a degree in finance. Before settling into his current life in Chicago, Dave spent multiple years living abroad in Thailand and India as well as a 5 year stretch in New York City. He has called Roscoe Village home for the last 15 years where he is extremely active in the community having served as President of Roscoe Village Neighbors for five years.
Dave loves spending time with his three children, Michael, Max and Maddy, and enjoys staying active by playing golf and soccer in his spare time.
