As a founding member of @properties, Craig embraces the energy and enthusiasm that embodies the @properties brand.  His prior work experience as a broker at Merrill Lynch has prepared him well for his past 18+ years as a Realtor.  Whether helping a buyer navigate through the financing and mortgage process, educating a buyer through the technical aspects of a home inspection, instructing a seller on staging techniques or just bringing a higher level of professionalism to the real estate industry, Craig incorporates effectiveness and passion with each client.  He takes great honor and pride in his role of assisting buyers and sellers in what will probably be the largest monetary transaction they will ever make.   His patience with each client underscores his desire to ensure complete satisfaction with every transaction.  He understands his role is not just unlocking a door or driving a client around a given neighborhood.  Rather, it often involves being a problem solver, a negotiator, an interior decorator, a housekeeper, a concierge, a landscaper, an analyst, and most importantly, an accomplished real estate professional and friend.  He understands that his role in real estate is not that of sales but consulting.  He further recognizes that in the commoditized field of real estate, consistency, sincerity, integrity, patience and dedication to each client are what matters.  No matter the size of the contract, each is treated with the same degree of reverence.  Craig is not in the business of transactional sales, rather, he takes pride in building relationships with each client.  All of his business is referral-based.  Ultimately, Craig not only represents you as your Realtor, he typically becomes a good friend.


Thus far during his real estate career, Craig has been fortunate and skilled to represent & close to $200 million of real estate sales.  His volume of sales consistently places him in the top 3% of all Chicago agents.       Craig has lived in Chicago for over 24 years in the Lakeview, Lincoln Park & Bucktown neighborhoods and now resides in River North. He graduated from the University of Illinois on a Chick Evans caddy scholarship where he also was a member of the Varsity Golf Team.  His degree in Finance and Economics aid in his analysis of data and his appreciation and understanding of building construction and interior design are valuable assets to clients as they select or sell their property. Having completed 23 consecutive Chicago marathons, his training runs have brought him a distinct knowledge of many of Chicago's neighborhoods.  The last seven marathons have been completed on his new artificial hip which highlights his steadfastness and ability to overcome adversity.  An avid traveler, he has recently enjoyed an African safari to the Masai Mara region of Kenya, Mt. Everest base camp in Tibet and numerous Grecian Islands. He has visited all fifty states. It is through this travel that Craig has reinforced his belief that Chicago is the best city in the country.  He is eager to utilize his knowledge and affinity for Chicago in helping you with your real estate needs.
