Clients are saying:
"Alan was super patient with us as we spent several months whittling down our list of possible areas. Once we had them down to two, he did a great job of matching us with possible homes, providing valuable insight as to why certain homes might be more desirable or pointing out flaws or hidden issues with other ones. Ultimately, we settled on a great house where we can see ourselves raising our kids, and he did a great job of negotiating/mediating with the sellers' agent to make sure the deal happened."
"Alan was a pleasure to work with, and we appreciated his wealth of knowledge about real estate, home ownership, and even construction. He has wonderful vision of the potential of a home but understands the constraints of a budget. He communicates very well, and we never had a problem getting in touch with him. We would recommend Alan to any of our family and friends!"
"Alan is a great real estate agent. We have moved a few times due to work, and he has been the best agent that we have ever worked with. He is very knowledgeable of local real estate and always went the extra mile to facilitate the home buying process for us. He always acted on our behalf and protected our interests. I would highly recommend Alan and would use him again in the future."
"Alan was a pleasure to deal with. He made the whole purchasing experience stress free and seamless. We would definitely use him again. He was able to negotiate a price lower than expected and followed through on everything to ensure the closing went smoothly. He succeeded and considering we had a quick close (9 days), it was outstanding."
"I have purchased a house in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago (to live in) and two condos in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago (as investment properties) with Alan. He's great to work with - no pressure, gives you good and direct advice, and sometimes helps you despite yourself (he saved me $5,000 on our house by encouraging me to negotiate the price rather than just jump to full asking price during the final round of our negotiation). He is very well established at @Properties, which is the largest brokerage in Chicago, which has helped many times as I looked for properties. He often knows the seller's brokers, and he's always willing to use his connections to try to get information for you or to smooth the process. Really nice personality - never pushy, lets you see a place and absorb it without constant talking, and knows the market well. Alan does a lot of his work in the suburbs as well, so he's not a "city broker" in the sense of knowing every building in the city backwards and forwards. However, he is a real estate investor himself so really understands how to value a property, pros and cons of various properties and how to help you think through your priorities when deciding whether to bid."
