George Schultz is Vice President of Brokerage Services/Managing Broker for @properties, Chicago’s largest independent residential brokerage firm. George manages brokerage operations including recruitment, retention, training and sales for the @properties office in Bucktown on the North Side of Chicago, and also oversees the firm’s two southwest Michigan offices – New Buffalo and St. Joseph. He has been with the firm since 2002.
George transitioned from sales, opening @properties’ Bucktown office in October of 2008, and has grown the branch from 40 licensees to more than 300 licensees generating over $1.1 billion in annual sales. Bucktown is the top-producing single office in the entire MRED network based on closed sales volume for the second year in a row.
George has also managed sales and marketing activities for several large-scale residential developments in the city totaling over $500 million in new-construction inventory and was a sales associate on many others. Projects include: R+D 659, 6 North Michigan, The Legacy at Millennium Park and 4 East Elm.
George has served the Chicago Association of REALTORS throughout his career, as a member of the board of directors (5 years) as well as several committees (ongoing).

Prior to working in real estate, George was a professional actor appearing in a number of plays, industrial videos, and TV commercials enhancing his skills as an active listener. He has a bachelor’s degree in dramatic arts and history from Centre College in Kentucky, and a master’s in fine arts from Purdue University.
George lives in Evanston, with his wife Kristine, also a successful REALTOR, and their two daughters, Macy (8) and Stella (6). He is grateful for their support and inspiration.
