Originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Kevin entered the real estate industry in 2008 with the mission to create value, and to be a trusted advisor, for friends, neighbors, previous colleagues, and family. Prior to real estate Kevin served in the U.S. Army, attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and had a career in hospitality and franchising.
Kevin intentionally entered the real estate industry during the downturn as he saw opportunity in a role as a trusted advisor for those feeling the effects of the market, but also to provide value for those that were able to take advantage during that time. In mid-2012 Kevin was asked to lead the training and coaching department at @properties. While he was passionate about working with his clients, there was an opportunity to help others grow both professionally and personally.
In 2013 Kevin assumed the role of managing broker and vp of training and brokerage services for the River North and Lincoln Park offices within the @properties system. Channeling his passion for service, personal development, and providing value, Kevin has been able to act as a small business consultant by developing coaching and training opportunities and curricula at @properties through both one-on-one and group settings. In recognition of Kevin’s work he was awarded the Chicago Agent Magazine Agent’s Choice Award for Managing Broker of the Year in 2014.
In addition to directly supporting brokers within @properties, Kevin works with the internal programming and IT teams to develop tools, technology, and resources to create efficiencies for both brokers and staff. Kevin also works with start-up technologies on development and distribution.
Kevin’s professional mission in his current role is to act as that small business consultant with the focus on support for each broker and staff member so that they may reach their own definition of success.
