Serving as Managing Broker, Ty is a Northern Michigan native recognized for his market expertise, trusted relationships, and exceptional local insight. He believes the Great Lakes region is one of the country's best-kept secrets, and he's a passionate advocate for embracing all four seasons and the endless opportunities to get outside. His early years were spent in Breckenridge, Colorado, where he pursued a professional freestyle skiing career. During that time, he traveled extensively, competing across North America and filming for ski movie productions. In 2010, he earned a spot on the U.S. Junior Team and competed in the World Championship Freestyle Skiing event in New Zealand. Toward the latter part of his career, he coached young Olympic-hopeful skiers while continuing to climb mountains and chase powder. After ten winters in the mountains, Ty returned home to Michigan, purchased his first home in Boyne City, and began his career in real estate.
Ty spent three years as the Northern Michigan Operations Coordinator with @properties REMI Christie's International Real Estate – Petoskey before earning his broker's license and stepping into a managing broker role. With a background in brand marketing and customer service, he is known for steady communication, thoughtful strategy, and a detail-driven, solutions-first approach.
