Since 1996, Ginny Holbert has sold over $110 million in residential real estate, bringing professionalism, passion and insight to each deal, whether selling a studio in a vintage condo building or helping clients negotiate the purchase of a lakefront mansion. For Ginny, real estate is not just about deals, it is about winning trust and becoming a lifelong real estate advisor to her clients.

Ginny has been active in real estate as an investor, landlord, vacation home owner and remodeler, and brings a wealth of knowledge about negotiation, the technicalities of the home-buying process and renovation to each transaction. She has also worked as a decorator, and she calls on those skills when helping sellers prepare their property for sale and when helping buyers see the hidden potential in properties they are considering.

Ginny grew up in Minnesota, moving to the Chicago area in the '80s. She and her husband moved to Evanston in 1983, sending their two daughters to Evanston public schools. She began her career as a journalist, and before real estate worked for the Chicago Sun-Times as a copy editor, features writer and television critic. She left journalism to begin working with her college friend Sheryl Larson, who sadly passed away in 2016, after a 20-year real estate partnership.
