I have been working as an agent on Chicago's North Shore for over 12 years with @properties. I buy, sell and rehab properties. I have been working in the home design field for over 20 years. And it is a love of design, which drives my business forward today. I owned my own lifestyle and home store in downtown Wilmette for 15 years, Dinner at Eight, prior to entering real estate. As a real estate agent, I am making design decisions for buyers and sellers on a daily, and sometimes hourly basis. I create homes people are excited to buy through both remodeling and staging. As a buyer's agent, I also help my clients envision and create their "dream" home.

Prior to working in retail and real estate, I was an academic. I have a Ph.D. in English Literature from The University of Chicago. In addition to my work in real estate, I am Vice President of The Jerome Mirza Foundation, a 501-3c that makes significant charitable contributions throughout Illinois, and to local non-profits, like Connections for the Homeless & The Wilmette Theater. I raised my two children in Wilmette, both attended McKenzie School and New Trier. My son currently works for JD.com in Los Angeles and attended the University of Indiana Bloomington and received a Masters Degree from the U of I in Chanpaign in Business Technology. My daughter has a finance and billingual economics graduate from U of I and works for a Chicago Law Firm.
