Steve Samuels has been involved in all aspects of the real estate industry for over 24 years. He began his career as a real estate attorney in the 1980’s, and quickly realized that working with clients to buy and sell real estate was his true passion.
Though still a licensed attorney, Steve has been working as a broker for more than two decades. Utilizing his strong negotiating skills and market knowledge, he has worked in new construction, owned and managed buildings as an investor, and represented developers in large projects. He developed and built The Skybox on Waveland, a luxury rooftop building overlooking Wrigley Field, and has also collaborated with a prominent North Shore builder in the development, construction and marketing of luxury single-family homes in Wilmette.
Born and raised in Chicago, Steve graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. Since then, he has lived in Chicago, Evanston and Wilmette. He currently resides in East Glenview with his wife and two children, who both attended New Trier High School.
Steve has helped clients purchase and sell properties from the South Loop to Highland Park and has a thorough knowledge of each city neighborhood, as well as the nuances of each community along the North Shore.
Prior to joining @properties, Steve owned and operated a small boutique real estate brokerage company in Chicago. As a broker/owner, Steve acquired expertise in all aspects of real estate sales and his clients consistently reported their highest degree of customer satisfaction. In 2013, Steve brought his expertise to @properties in order to focus all of his attention on servicing his clients while utilizing all of the resources available to him from the #1 brokerage firm in the city and the fastest growing brokerage firm on the North Shore.
