"Carrie was exceptionally well prepared right from the initial meeting. She presented a detailed market analysis with insight into the specific complex in which my property was located. She made valuable, little or no cost suggestions for staging. I followed her suggestions on schedule so we could be ready for the listing. The listing package of photographs, videos and descriptions was great and she spent extra time verifying the accuracy. We chose an aggressive pricing. As a result of her efforts, we had more showings than I expected and multiple offers. I do not think the listing and sale could have been handled in a better or more professional manner. I would recommend Carrie to anyone looking for a real estate professional."
"Carrie helped make our home look beautiful. She walked through our house and advised us very thoroughly on how to make our house more marketable. She helped arrange props and a photographer as well. In the end our home looked beautiful thanks to her help! It was sold in one weekend!"
"Carrie was so helpful in the process of buying and securing our first home and sold our condo in the matter of days!! She helped calm our nerves and was so helpful in answering all of our questions! I would definitely recommend her!"
"Several years ago, my mom gave me a mailer she had received promoting the sale of a unit around the corner from hers in the Lake Arlington Towne complex. I explained to mom that, when the time came that she/we needed to sell, it was unlikely that she would be able to sell for a comparable amount given she had made no updates or improvements in 33 years. But I put Carrie Goodman's mailer in the file with my mom's important papers. Mom passed in August 2020, and we were faced with cleaning out and selling 2546 Hunter Drive. Once we had donated most of the furniture to charity, stripped all of the hideous wallpaper and had the entire unit painted, we called Carrie to explain the situation. Thanks (or no thanks!) to COVID we had our first meeting with Carrie via FaceTime. She was thorough, informative, knowledgeable and re-assuring that despite my mom's failure to update flooring and cabinetry or replace windows it would make an appealing "as is" listing. Carrie was wonderful. She handled EVERYTHING professionally and quickly, and understood that the demands of my job and settling my mom's estate left little time for attention to details. She had the listing up in less than a week, on a Saturday, and we had 2 offers within 24 hours. We had 5 offers by Monday morning. Carrie helped us navigate the price negotiation ( we have never bought/sold property from/to an unrelated party), contract process - held our hand (virtually) every step of the way. For me this was not all financial. It was about having to let go of the last material part of my mom's life and needing to know the place she called home as the first and only owner was going to someone who also wanted a "home" instead of a piece of property to rent or flip. Carrie understood that, and went to great lengths to find out the "story" of each offer. We couldn't have asked for a realtor who was more empathetic and caring. Carrie is the BEST!"
"Carrie was very helpful with the entire process of selling our home. The process was pretty simple due to Carrie and her various associates' work. We definitely plan on using Carrie when we purchase our next home."
