Sarah Maiga's career has always been rooted in service, education, and servant leadership. A University of Michigan alum and Congressional Medal of Merit recipient, she began her real estate career in 2015 and has since helped more than 395 families across Southeast Michigan, closing over $135 million in residential real estate sales.
Before joining @properties REMI Christie's International Real Estate, Sarah spent five years as the Broker/Owner of Maiga Homes, an experience that strengthened her expertise in negotiation, strategy, client advocacy, and the business of real estate. Today, she brings that same entrepreneurial mindset and highly personalized approach to every client she serves.
An educator at heart, Sarah is passionate about making real estate easier to understand and navigate. She partnered with the University of Michigan's Center for the Education of Women+ to design and teach its first-ever home buyer education course, helping make homeownership information more accessible to the community.
Beyond her work with clients, Sarah is deeply engaged in advancing housing rights, shaping policy, and strengthening the communities she serves. She serves on the Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, the Government Affairs Committee, and as Chair of the Young Professionals Network, where she helps support the next generation of real estate professionals while advocating for policies that protect homeownership opportunities and promote fair, accessible housing. She also serves as a Trustee for the Canton Community Foundation/Local Impact Alliance and has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the University of Michigan Department of Afroamerican and African Studies.
Her mission is to empower clients with knowledge, confidence, and a seamless real estate experience, while also driving meaningful change within the industry and the communities she serves.
