I'm very proud and honored to be an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker since 2002 focusing on the Northwest Suburbs, Northern Suburbs and east to the North Shore. I was raised in Mt.Prospect and a proud graduate from John Hersey High School followed by my bachelors degree at Northeastern. Because I had such a wonderful high school experience, I decided to settle down in the same area. I am a Prospect Heights resident and now have two children traveling a similar path as I in attending Hersey as well. I consider myself an expert in knowing pertinent information of all the communites I represent, i.e. property values, property taxes, schools, etc.... "I happened to pick up one of Gus’ business card at one of his open houses. (See, it pays to have open houses. You never know where it might lead you.) Gus and I barely have an exchange together, so I don’t know how he ended up being my realtor. I think God works in mysterious ways.
I wasn’t sure putting my home for sale was a wise thing to do at the time, but I went ahead anyway. I was nervous and worried about the parade of people that would come to view the place and that I might regret it later.
Gus is very professional and was there to make the transition as smooth as possible. Gus utilizes a team of professionals to take care of problems before they arise. The ‘Gus Team’ includes lawyers, movers, maintenance guys, etc. that would work together to smooth the transition toward closing.
Gus even addresses some handyman tasks himself! He helped me clean my lighting fixture because I could not reach the fixture even with a ladder. He installed my carbon monoxide alert which previously just sits on the shelf. Gus even helped me moved some furniture offsite because I don’t have the room for them anymore. He offered to help me move heavy items that I was not able to do myself.
I have buyers who were interested in making offers within the first two days that my home was open for public viewing! I was able to decline showings and avoid open houses.
During the transitional period while waiting to close, Gus made regular welfare checks to make sure that I wasn’t overwhelmed by trauma and drama and checked to see how the packing was coming along.
