From a young age riding in the car with her father, Chris Puszynski admired the beautiful homes they passed and once asked, "Why can't we live in the castle?" That childhood wonder and appreciation for architecture grew into a distinguished real estate career beginning in 1977 — one built on curiosity, vision, and a deep belief in the meaning of home.

For nearly fifty years, Chris has guided North Shore families through life's significant transitions — especially downsizing and redefining what home means in a new chapter. With a comprehensive, hands-on approach, she brings clarity to the process, anticipating needs and advocating tirelessly for her clients every step of the way. Her goal is simple yet powerful: that every client feels supported, confident, and truly understood.

Known for her discerning eye, Chris excels in identifying essential repairs and improvements to maximize value. She coordinates trusted trades, oversees details with care, and sees potential others may miss — whether opening a floor plan, reimagining flow, or artfully staging a space. Long before staging became standard, she was quietly elevating the way homes were presented.

Chris is grounded in integrity, honesty, and fairness, values shaped by family and faith in purpose. She believes every move is emotional as well as practical, and she considers it a privilege to guide clients through these meaningful moments in life.

A proud resident of the North Shore, Chris loves the history of Lake Forest, the beauty of its beach, the charm of Market Square, and the natural preservation led by Open Lands. She enjoys local favorites like Le Colonial, and finds inspiration in art — a passion that fuels her creative perspective and love for design.

Beyond her real estate practice, Chris has served as Director and former President of Women in Real Estate, chaired the Chamber real estate committee, and is an active member of the North Shore–Barrington, Illinois, and National Association of REALTORS®. A lifelong learner, she researches deeply, listens intently, and approaches her work with humility and grace — always growing, always giving her best.

Above all, Chris is grateful for the people she serves. Her clients have taught her lessons in kindness, resilience, and generosity — shaping her life as much as she shapes theirs.

For Chris, real estate isn't just a profession.
It's a calling, a privilege, and a lifelong dedication to helping others find where they truly belong.
