Jennifer Owen is a licensed Illinois real estate broker with @properties and a Chicago native. As a founding member of Schatz Development's sales team for the hugely successful 600 Fairbanks project in Streeterville in 2005, she has sold over one-third of the units there. To date Jennifer has closed over $150 million in real estate transactions.

She began her career as the Director of Development for a social services agency here in Chicago, and then went on to amass diverse experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Schatz Development, she was an event planner and program manager in the banking and securities sector at McKinsey & Company, the world's foremost management consulting firm.

As part of a family who all have successful careers in the real estate industry -- from title sales and brokerage to large-scale residential and commercial developments -- Jennifer finally succumbed to the real estate bug. Her mother, Marble Owen, was one of the top luxury brokers in the city with Rubloff at the time of her death in 1996. It was under her mother's tutelage that Jennifer began her career in real estate. She is a second-generation Realtor whose clients benefit from her insider knowledge of the city and suburbs, varied connections, extensive formal business training, personable nature, and innovative, modern marketing approach.

Jennifer is a Francis W. Parker alumna who grew up in the Gold Coast and Old Town neighborhoods and currently resides in Lincoln Park. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and enjoyed academic stints at the acclaimed European Business School (EBS) in Paris and the University of London. She is proficient in French from attending Andover, Exeter and St. Paul's Academies™ School Year Abroad program in secondary school.
