Some people grow into their passion for real estate. Others are born with it.

Jacqueline Trotter Lotzof knows what it takes to buy and sell property. Growing up in a real estate family, and playing key roles in over $200 million in real estate transactions for a wide range of commercial and residential properties nationwide, she quickly learned the importance of achieving the security of a sound investment and solid return for the client. Having returned to her native Highland Park from Chicago four years ago, she understands the distinguishing characteristics of different neighborhoods and communities throughout Chicagoland and works tirelessly to find the perfect match for her clients. Her approachable yet professional demeanor, refined organizational skills and dedication to her clients, keeps her keenly focused and able to deliver results.

“I learned the secrets behind my father’s success in real estate and put that same dedication, intuition and construction know-how to work for my own clients. I value the importance of cultivating and maintaining relationships, something I focus on daily in every aspect of my personal and professional life.”

With Jacqueline's prior years of experience running her construction company, JTL Brokerage & Construction, she brings knowledgeable insights to understand a home’s true potential. Jacqueline is an invaluable resource to her clients; whether buying or selling she can source all her clients will need during the process.

Prior to establishing her construction company, Jacqueline was at the Alter Group, a national developer of commercial, industrial, medical office, student housing and multifamily properties. Jacqueline graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and she and her family live in the Ravinia neighborhood of Highland Park. Her strong interests in the vitality of her community led her to become active in local civic organizations including The Art Center of Highland Park.

“My clients are like my family, and there is nothing I wouldn’t do in the search or sale of a home for my own family.”

"Working with Jacqueline was a very smooth process. From the moment I met her I knew I wanted to work with her. She was well organized, knew what we needed to do to sell our house fast. We listened and our home sold in 3 days. She ended up being a dual agent and was able to provide information that helped us make the right decisions. We were very happy working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent."

"Jacqueline was absolutely wonderful to work with. She knew exactly what we were looking for in a home, and she was extremely attentive and prompt to respond to all of our needs as buyers. I would recommend her to friends and family to use as an agent in the future."

"Jacqueline was our first call after we lost 3 houses with another agent. She was responsive, aggressive, and made the process as easy as possible with negotiating our offer and making sure we got into our forever home. We can't thank her and her associate, Stephanie, enough for their guidance and support during one of the most stressful times and for getting us into our forever home!"
