Originally from Prospect Heights, IL, his family has been vacationing in Harbor Country since the 1940's when his grandfather built their first summer beach cottage. He spent his childhood summers on the lake in Harbor Country, and has been a full-time resident since January of 2010.
Outside of work, he's an avid long-distance runner, golfer, world traveler, beach seeker, singer-songwriter, and craft beer enthusiast.
He holds a bachelors degree in Business Resource Management (2011) from the University of Purdue, and a Certificate of Music Business from M.I. in Hollywood, CA (2008).
He's been recognized among the firm's top producers being a proud member of the Road to Rolex Club — a one-time achievable @properties award reserved for agents selling more than $10 million inside one calendar year (MRED:01/2020-12/2020).
Klaus is an expert negotiator who consults with sharp valuation, offering 'area-specific' intel, guiding his clients to their best possible outcome.
He's also had the privilege of working alongside some of New Buffalo's elite business owners — including the marketing, negotiation and sale of the Starbucks in New Buffalo on Whittaker Street (MLS#19043856).
