With 15 years of selling building materials and 13 years of selling real estate, Philip has spent almost his entire professional career around the residential housing market. During this time, he has interfaced with architects, engineers, inspectors, and contractors. He brings a unique expertise to every home he markets. With insights in not just the materials used, but the methods employed to build the home, Philip can see beyond the flash, and evaluates the substance.
Philip and his team continue to be recognized among the top Realtors in Chicago, having sold 90 million dollars in real estate, and counting.
A member of the Chicago Association of Realtors since 2005, he is a certified Real Estate negotiator (CREN) and Military Relocation Professional (MRP). He has been featured in Chicago Magazine, CBS news, and Curbed Chicago, offering tips and techniques for investing and flipping homes, as well as home values in Portage Park and Chicago.
Philip’s family has roots in Chicago dating back to the Great Chicago Fire: his great-grandfather was a Chicago fireman. When he is not selling real estate, he is active in his own community, sitting on the board of the Portage Park Neighborhood Association. Currently, he and his wife are restoring their historic bungalow in Portage Park, in the heart of the bungalow belt. He spends much of his free time gardening, cooking, and on his motorcycle. He also focuses a lot of time towards some of his favorite charities including animal rights, food for the less fortunate, and blood drives. Philip has a BS in Political Science from Northern Arizona University. He writes the food blog One Hungry Agent.
