Clients are saying:
"I cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Anne. Quite simply, she is one of the most competent people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has deep local and industry knowledge and was able to leverage her expertise into getting us a great sale price for our home and helping us buy our dream home. She is responsive, patient, and really took the time to know us and keep us calm throughout the hectic process of a double real estate transaction. We had a somewhat complex buying/selling situation which required extensive coordination between 2 additional buying parties and a seller and Anne quite literally saved the day (and our sanity) when she took the reigns to coordinate all parties at a particularly crucial junction to make sure everyone was aligned and all deals would get done.
On top of it all, she is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. We're almost sad that the process is over because we'll miss talking to her so frequently!"
"Anne is simply the best. She was recommended to us by a friend as we were considering a move from the city to the suburbs and we couldn't have asked for a better realtor. We had no idea where we wanted to live in the Western Suburbs and she helped narrow our search, provided resources, and education to meet all our requirements. We both work in the city, wanted to be close to a train, and wanted a neighborhood feel. For every showing she provided us with a map of the area and marked the trains and the schools so we could get a feel for the neighborhoods and our commute. We saw close to 100 houses and she never once lost patience with us. When it came time to negotiate, she helped us land our wonderful home in La Grange, when we thought it was a long shot. Can't say enough great things about her."
"Anne was amazing to work with when we decided to relocate from the city to the suburbs! Her local knowledge of La Grange helped us find an amazing off-market property. Anne was very responsive and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in the western suburbs!"
"As first time homebuyers, Anne was enormously helpful in guiding the purchase of our first home.
Her knowledge of the La Grange/La Grange Park/Western Springs area is exceptional - she's lived and worked in the area for years and we got the sense right away that she knows both the real estate market and the neighborhoods very well.
She helped to guide us through the process and was patient with us (and our remedial questions).
We ended up buying an older home, and there were some key things that we needed to find out during the inspection process related to the HVAC and a necessary construction project. She was able to tap into her network of local contractors to quickly get us estimates that helped inform our offer and decision. We relied on her recommendations for our attorney and contractor, all of whom have been great.
Seeing so many homes in the area, she has a good sense of what repairs cost or how other homeowners have addressed similar issues.
She was always immediately responsive via text or email, and we believe she fought hard for us in the negotiation process to get the deal completed.
Buying a home is scary - buying a 124 year old home is even scarier, and we were grateful to have Anne guide us through the process. We've already recommended her to our parents (who will be closing on their home next month) and our friends looking to make the move to the area."
"Anne Hodge was a delight to work with and was
always available when I needed to converse with her. She regularly kept me informed on the happenings regarding the sale of my home.
She is truly a professional with a cheery disposition.
I would highly recommend Anne.
