Tim was born and raised in New Orleans, a city that values its neighborhoods just as much as Chicago. He attended college for two years at a small liberal arts school in Denver called Regis University, where he then met his Chicagoan wife. He transferred to University of New Orleans just in time to watch the city transform in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
In 2008, Tim began working for a commercial and residential development company that grew exponentially following the property value crashes that occurred after Katrina, which created a blank slate in many ways, and the 2008 recession. He participated in the development of several large commercial and residential projects, including a 250-unit building in the heart of New Orleans downtown.
Since moving to Chicago, Tim has been involved in property management and leasing. Tim now resides in an 1886 3-flat in the Sheffield Neighbors area of Lincoln Park with his wife Gabbie, two kids Edmund and Emma, and golden retriever Duke, where they are active in the Oscar Mayer Montessori community.
