Katie moved to Chicago from downstate Illinois to get her bachelor's degree in design and fell in love with the city — the people, the architecture, the history, the grit. She has lived and loved all over the city. She is happy to call Old Irving Park home with her writer husband, unruly 5-year-old, super smiley baby, and a headstrong rat terrier. In her free time, she paints, is a crafty DIY tinkerer, helps build startups, cooks, and adds to her ever-growing spoon collection. (Ask about The Louve spoon)
