Melissa (aka "Mel") Gorski is based in @properties' Oak Park office, where she helps clients throughout Chicagoland find the perfect home to buy, sell or rent. Offering deep knowledge and connections to a wide range of neighborhoods in the city and suburbs, along with an obsessive passion for client service, you will be "moving with Mel" in no time.
Ever resourceful and results-oriented, Mel is a strategic marketing powerhouse who will work tirelessly to help you identify your home buying and selling goals, guide you through every step of the process from search to negotiation to close, and ensure that, when all is said and done, you love where you live.
Prior to joining @properties, Mel worked in public relations, sales and marketing on behalf of some of the world's most recognized media, lifestyle and hospitality brands, including NBC News, Hearst, Time Warner, Playboy Enterprises and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. A born storyteller, social butterfly and genuine "people person," Mel's creative ideas, can-do attitude and exemplary problem-solving skills make her a tremendous asset to her clients.
A native of Downers Grove, Mel holds a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University and has lived in neighborhoods throughout Chicago, including Lincoln Park, Lakeview/Wrigleyville, Ukrainian Village and Norwood Park. She currently lives in Northwest Oak Park where, in her free time, she enjoys home entertaining, sewing and fashion design, travel, wine tasting, and spending time outdoors with her husband, their two sports- and Roblox-obsessed boys, and their dogs, Franny & Olive.
