Lockport

Lockport is part of the Southwest Suburbs. The southwest suburbs encompass many vibrant suburban communities that continue to attract residents who enjoy affordable housing and close proximity to the city of Chicago. Housing throughout the southwest suburbs consists of a variety of single-family homes, which often take the form of ranches and bungalows.

Major nearby highways include the Tri-State Tollway, Veterans Memorial Tollway and I-80. Several great restaurants can also be found in the region, such as Tallgrass in Lockport. Recreational opportunities are also abundant, thanks to many numerous parks, trails and golf courses.
