Julie and Cathy Deutsch are a mother/daughter real estate partnership. Together, they cover from Chicago to the North Shore—and work tirelessly to help clients achieve their goals.
Julie has lived her entire life on the North Shore. Her reputation for providing quality service to her clients is legendary and her strong work ethic and extensive knowledge of the industry make home buying and selling happen. She is frequently recognized as one of the top-producing agents on the North Shore.
Julie went to Elm Place and Highland Park High School and then graduated from the University of Arizona, but her love of the North Shore brought her back to raised her family in Highland park so her children could experience the same education and community she loves. Julie is a devoted mother and grandmother, an avid golfer, and ambitious traveler.
Cathy is a third-generation top-producing real estate broker, following in her mother's and grandmother's footsteps. She provides highly personalized service, helping clients define and achieve their real estate objectives. She is results-driven, creative, and a relentless advocate for her clients. Cathy offers a discerning eye for design and staging.
Cathy is a member of @properties' Glencoe and Lincoln Park offices. After serving as a Vice President for Residential Sales with one of the nation's top real estate teams specializing in Chicago's near north side, Cathy joined forces with her mother Julie Deutsch in 2018. Deutsch Residential now proudly serves clients from as far north as Lake Bluff to as far south as Hyde Park.
Prior to launching her career in real estate, Cathy was a fundraising executive for the University of Chicago, where she secured transformational philanthropic investments in science and medicine. Cathy has found many parallels between fundraising and marketing luxury homes. Both require a keen understanding of the donor/client's financial and personal goals, extraordinary communication, and astute analytical skills.
Cathy graduated from the University of Vermont. She studied in Avignon, France, and is fluent in French (and enjoys French wine!). She grew up in Highland Park and is a long-time resident of Chicago's Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods. Her passions include traveling, hiking, and collecting art.
