"There aren't words to describe how appreciative I am of Amy and all her hard work she put in during our house search. We were first time home buyers (which is sometimes scary) and had to look at everything that came on the market and Amy was there without question every single time. Even after a rough issue with the first home we fell in love with, Amy stuck by us and she helped us find the home of our dreams. Every question was answered, every worry was calmed and we couldn't have pick a better person for the job. My kids, parents and in-laws love her to death - we didn't just have a realtor we made a life-long family friend."
"We highly recommend Amy Bernstein! She's a great communicator, patient, trustworthy, and helped us find our new home, which we just love. It isn't easy to find a realtor you match with - we had to try a couple before we felt like we had met the perfect match. She knew the Evanston/Skokie area very well, which gave us a sense of confidence. In addition, we always felt that Amy respected our opinion and was never pushing us to put in an offer on a home that didn't feel right. Her ultimate goal is to make sure you are satisfied."
"Amy went above and beyond to help us sell our home. She was always there when we needed her and our home sold quickly....for a good price! We truly appreciated her assistance during the negotiation and closing. Couldn’t have asked for a better realtor."
"Hiring Amy was the best decision I could have made while looking for a place to live. My schedule is very hectic and jam packed, but Amy made everything very easy, accommodating, as well as friendly and hassle free. Hiring Amy was like having one of my good friends help me find a place to live. I would highly recommend Amy for anyone looking for top notch real estate help. I will be using Amy in the future when it comes time to purchase a home."
"Amy was a remarkable guide for our family of four as we searched for our first home. She has a gentle nature that welcomed us to each meeting or viewing. We viewed a wide range of homes in our desired location that included: “move-in ready” properties, those in need of some to all repairs and renovations, to homes that needed to be completely torn down. Amy was always keen to go on an adventure and tried to highlight the possibilities within each home viewing. Amy was an incredible asset to help us think broadly and flexibly while anchoring to our core priorities throughout the home search. My partner and I agreed on many things. However, we were not aligned on all variables (e.g. kitchen island versus man-cave). Amy’s greatest strength in working with our family was in entertaining our priorities and wishes, while remaining aware of our short and long-term goals related to home ownership. She balanced our personalities well and managed moments where our moods fluctuated (e.g. writing offers, waiting for responses, the inspection) with grace. We ended up purchasing a home in our ideal neighborhood and are extremely grateful for what it has provided for our family in the last two years. Had it not been for Amy’s patience, willingness to serve as a subjective and objective support, and optimism we might be in a different and less desirable scenario. Since we purchased our home, we have remained in close contact with Amy. We have reached out to Amy periodically and ask for her opinion on market trends. This helps us tremendously as we make choices regarding renovation and other plans we are contemplating for our home. We have referred Amy to close friends and they have had great experiences as well. We know they are in knowledgeable, caring, and capable hands."
