Situated north of downtown Chicago, Ravenswood is located within the Lincoln Square community area. Bordered by Foster Avenue, Montrose Avenue, Clark Street and the Chicago River, the neighborhood was annexed to the City of Chicago in 1889 and quickly expanded following the arrival of the ‘L.'
