You have heard the phrase - Practice makes
I was always more of a fan of: Perfect Practice makes perfect.
It is all about perfecting your process so that what you do becomes muscle memory - instinct.
Whether you are making a sandwich or going on a listing appointment.
Practice also helps you get your hours in on the path to becoming an expert. How can you be a great
listing agent if you do one listing appointment a month. For most 12 appointments where you get 9
listings would be pretty good. At average sale, you are already at $4M for the year. But, are you
a great listing agent?
How do you improve? You either do the things necessary to get more listing appointments or you
practice your presentation - on friends,family, real estate review, on other agents, on me, etc.
You have to put in the hours to perfect your skills. If you don't - you might not be taking your
ambition to action.
You have to be honest with yourself. Are you doing all you can to become better at what you do?
Only you can answer this. If you are not, why not?
Is it fear? Is it not prioritizing? What is holding you back?
You are the only one that can answer that question. You are the only solution. You are the only
part of the equation you have control over.
One solution I offer you is to perfect your process a little at a time. By doing this, you will
overcome whatever is holding you back.
Continue to visualize where you want to go and the clearest path there. Take the first step and
repeat. Just Do It Now!
